Microsoft Templates


Microsoft offers literally hundreds of templates to provide you formats of many different documents, from time sheets and greeting cards, to even calendars. Templates basically provide you a formatted document that allows you to only modify it to meet your needs. 

As an example, here's how to create a resume using Microsoft Templates:
  • Open your Microsoft Word application
  • Click on "New"
  • Depending on your version of MS Word a listing of templates will appear, or you will have to click on "templates"
  • Find the category "Resumes", and click on it
  • You will see different styles. Select one to meet your need
  • Click on the "Download" button to download to your MS word program. 
  • Modify the fields within the template to customize it for your use. 
  • When complete, select "Save As" and file it on your computer.
